Auxiliary Footpeg Mounts

Our auxiliary footpeg mounts allow both long and short-leg drivers a chance to change leg positions and enhance the riding enjoyment. Our 09015 mounts for all R800/1100/1150 models offer five different positions for footpeg mounting. The 09020 mounts for the 1200-series have three different positions. The 2010 09030 mounts offer 8" of peg travel!
A cylindrical, machined "adapter" fits over the valve cover screw head, replacing the steel washer that captures the rubber washer, and offers the base to which the peg plate is mounted. We use them on three screw heads ( two on the 09030), so the ruggedness, durability and solid feeling are the best available of any aftermarket auxiliary peg mounts. A through-hole in the adaptor allows a hex or Torx wrench to be inserted to tighten your valve cover screw. The 09030 has 4-point mounting for 20% more rigidity.
Since many long-term motorcycle owners have collected a set of extra footpegs over the years, we have elected not to include them, but to leave the choice of 'type' to you. However, if you want to purchase footpegs, we recommend the passenger pegs from an R1100R (shown), available from your BMW dealer. These pegs seem to do an excellent job of dampening the engine vibrations from the driver's feet and the molded-in BMW logo adds a "factory" appearance. The part number is included in the installation instructions. But, any footpeg with a stud not exceeding 0.40" in diameter will work.
Fabricated from aircraft-quality aluminum alloy, the plates and adapters are anodized to resist oxidation and offer a satin appearance complementing your BMW. High strength assembly screws and washers are black-zinc or cadmium plated to resist corrosion.
Unfortunately for you owners of Adventures and R1200CL's, this product will not work for you, as the safety bars interfere with installation.

If you've discovered, like I did, that your right toe sometimes misses the brake pedal, this product is for you.
CNC-machined, aircraft-quality, aluminum-alloy billet is cut and then anodized in a satin finish.
The 12000 and 12006 models have an internal hole that allows slipping the extension over your BMW's brake pedal knob. A grade 8, plated screw and special nut secure the extension.
The 12008 and 12009 models are cut to fit over the existing brake pedal on your GS. A stainless steel screw and washer secure the extension.
Sorry, Adventure owners need not apply. Your pedal folds out.
